Professor Michael Hamburger will discuss "Geology, Theology, and Foreign Policy: Issues at the Intersection of Science, Religion, and International Affairs”.
Hamburger is Professor of Geological Sciences, Geophysics, Seismology and Tectonics at IU.
His major research interests are in seismotectonics, dynamics of earthquake and volcanic processes, and application of satellite measurements. He recently spent a year in Washington, DC helping the government understand science. He will reflect on that opportunity.
