What does Judaism have to say about... Health Care?

Second in a series. We will bring relevant Jewish source texts to bear on questions such as: Is health care a "universal right?" When it comes to health care, how should society allocate limited financial resources? How should an individual's prognosis or level of self-care factor into the decision?

Every month or two, the Rabbi will be leading a Jewish text study that addresses contemporary hot-button political issues.  In January, we discussed gun control. Future topics may include: immigration, refugees, "bending the facts" in public discourse, etc. If you have any topics that you would like to have covered, please email the Rabbi.
